JOB DESCRIPTION
Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) is seeking a first shift Full Time Data Platform Developer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. Note this position is currently a hybrid telework position. At this time one day is required on-site if you live within a 50-Mile Radius of Redstone Arsenal, AL; however, full-remote telework is approved for this position. Responsibilities The Data Platform Developer will work closely with the Customer to execute the follow tasks:
Develop Open-Source Technology Solutions:
Utilize expertise in open-source technologies to create robust and innovative technical solutions.
Apply Strong Apache NiFi Skills:
Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apache NiFi to support data integration and processing workflows. Work with
Minimal or No Business Use Case/Requirements:
Independently develop solutions in environments with limited or undefined business requirements, relying on technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Adapt to
Changing Requirements:
Flexibly adjust to evolving project needs and requirements while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Quickly Apply Knowledge and Skills:
Rapidly learn and implement new technologies and techniques to produce innovative technical solutions. Collaborate in a
Highly Integrated Development Team:
Work closely with team members to execute development tasks, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
Support Modernization Activities:

AWS Redshift and AWS Aurora:
Build and manage data solutions using AWS Redshift and AWS Aurora as primary technologies. Work with AWS S3: Develop and manage data storage and retrieval solutions using AWS S3.
Apply Denodo Expertise:
Utilize Denodo for data virtualization and integration tasks. Create Visualizations with
Tableau Desktop:
Design and develop data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau Desktop. Program in
Python:
Write and maintain Python code to support data processing and automation tasks. Develop with
PostgreSQL:
Build and manage database solutions using PostgreSQL. Work with
Oracle Databases:
Design and implement database solutions using Oracle. Use Bitbucket (Stash) for
Version Control:
Manage code repositories and collaborate using Bitbucket (Stash). Utilize Bamboo for
Continuous Integration:
Support build and deployment processes using Bamboo. Manage Tasks with
Jira:
Track and manage development tasks and workflows using Jira.
Collaborate Using Confluence:
Document and share project information using Confluence. Apply HP Fortify for
Security:
Use HP Fortify to ensure secure coding practices and perform code analysis.
Develop Using Eclipse:
Write and debug code using the Eclipse IDE. Manage Code with
GIT:
Perform version control and code management using GIT. Utilize DBeaver for
Database Management:
Administer and query databases using DBeaver. Write Scripts in
Bash:
Develop and execute Bash scripts for automation and system tasks. Develop in
SQL:
Create and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval. Program in
PL/SQL:
Write and maintain PL/SQL code for Oracle database procedures and functions. Use PL/pgSQL for
PostgreSQL:
Develop stored procedures and functions using PL/pgSQL for PostgreSQL databases. Work with
SQL Developer:
Use SQL Developer to manage and query Oracle databases. Minimum Experience 12 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree OR 10 years of experience with an Master’s Degree Work Environment Note this position is currently a hybrid telework position.
