Job Title:
IC Design EngineerJob Description Lead integrated-circuit (IC) and/or system-level development tasks including design, verification, and tapeout. Develop and apply analytical and behavioral modeling techniques to analyze electronic circuit and/or system-level reliability and performance. Actively collaborate with other researchers working on first-principles modeling and fundamental measurements of physical effects in semiconductors. Support the planning, setup, and operation of labs for electrical characterization of digital, analog, and mixed-signal ICs and/or systems for reliability and performance analysis. Plan and perform electrical and environmental testing to measure IC and/or system-level reliability and performance. Travel to external test sites including DoD and National Labs, and collaborators’ facilities, will likely be required. Document technical activities and findings in reports and publications. Contribute to future R D efforts via proposal preparation. Essential Skills + Digital/Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design + Cadence/Synopsys + Python + C++ + C + BS Degree with 5 years of experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + RF IC Design/testing + PCB Design/prototyping + Power Electronics Design & Testing + Machine Learning tools + Eligibility to obtain clearance Work Environment Onsite in Huntsville, AL with some level of flexibility if required. 40-hour work week with no expectation of overtime.
