Position Summary We are seeking candidates who are passionate about creating the next generation of products and services. The selected candidate will work at our office in Huntsville in office and remote work occasionally when required, and some customer site location work at Redstone Arsenal when required. The person in this role will be responsible for leading and setting the tone for the program’s systems engineering efforts including system design, high level architecture, interface definitions, and system behaviors. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to pioneer the product development of DoD planning, monitoring, and assessment tools for Operational Test environments. This role will require creativity and innovation to combine the discipline of Systems Engineering with larger program and corporate objectives. In this role, the candidate must be able to conceptualize solutions, define product roadmaps and know how to apply new technologies to meet emerging customer needs. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain system models to represent system architecture, interfaces, and behaviors using MBSE tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, or equivalent.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system requirements, design, and performance criteria.
Define and document high-level system architecture, interface definitions, and behaviors.
Help drive the integration of MBSE practices across the program to ensure consistency, traceability, and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
Generate technical documentation and reports within our modeling tool based on system models to support design reviews, requirements verification, and customer presentations.
Stay up to date on emerging MBSE methodologies and tools to ensure best practices.
Support system-level trade studies and analyses to evaluate design alternatives.
Facilitate communication between other systems engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders using system models.
Travel occasionally to customer sites or for team collaboration as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (BS) or MS Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or an Engineering related field.
2 or more years of DoD Experience
OSMP certification (preferred not required)
Skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to develop requirements.
Familiarity with Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity in SysML modeling language.
Familiarity with DoDAF, UPDM, or UAF frameworks is a plus.
Ability to work independently and lead system development efforts.
Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies is desirable.
Experience with Matlab or equivalent (preferred but not required).
