We areseekinga highly motivatedRadar and Missile Systems Simulation Engineer, Mid-Levelto support Department of Defense (DoD) efforts focusedonthe development and maintenance of high-fidelity simulations for radar and missile systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in engineering or physical sciences, firsthand experience in software development, and a deep understanding of modeling and simulation in both Linux and Windows environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, andmaintainsimulation models for radar and missile systems.
Implement and optimize algorithms using C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.Integrate andvalidatesimulation components in a multi-platform (Linux and Windows) environment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system requirements and support testing and analysis activities.
Develop tools for simulation control, data analysis, and visualization.
Document technical designs, software changes, and test resultsfollowingproject standards.
Participate in code reviews, configuration management, and version control practices.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
MinimumQualifications and Education Requirements and Desired SkillsetsBachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Engineering(Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace), Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.3-7 years of professional experience in modeling and simulation development, specifically with radar and/or missile systems.
Proficiencyin programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.Strong experience working in both Linux and Windows development environments.
Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including debugging, version control (e.g., Git), and testing frameworks.
