Your Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to provide critical support for the Missile Defense Agency’s Defense of Guam (DoG) program. This role involves guiding technical efforts, ensuring secure system integration, and collaborating with stakeholders to protect a vital national defense asset. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering, experience with MDA systems, and a proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts. Key Responsibilities Conduct integrated analysis and evaluation of DoG test events, including Flight Tests, Ground Tests, and System Integration Check Out (SICO) activities Support engineering milestones such as Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) Collaborate with MDA stakeholders and partner organizations to align schedules, resolve issues, and maintain technical accuracy Provide input on secure system design, risk identification, and mitigation strategies Lead and support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), action tracking, and meeting coordination Develop executive-level briefings, technical papers, and correspondence for senior leaders, including Flag Officers and SES personnel Coordinate and support GENser and SAP-level meetings and VTCs Represent the Government customer in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), working groups, and technical forums Utilize engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Windchill, Qlik) for analysis and coordination Integrate cybersecurity inputs into engineering processes and ensure compliance Occasional travel may be required Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree•in Engineering, Physical Science, or a related field 15+ years of relevant systems engineering or technical experience Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures Experience with MDA system elements (e.g., Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, C2BMC) Familiarity with secure development practices, configuration management, and cybersecurity-informed engineering Knowledge of the ETM-2 system and experience managing Congressional or routine taskers Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical briefings to senior leaders Active Secret Security Clearance is required Preferred Qualifications Experience leading and supporting executive-level technical meetings Prior experience working with MDA’s senior leadership or supporting Flag Officers and SES personnel Advanced knowledge of MDA’s test and evaluation processes and protocols How You Will Be Rewarded We offer a comprehensive total rewards approach to compensation, providing incentives and benefits that extend far beyond the base salary.
