Apply Now Job Description Description SAIC is actively seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Precision Fires program in Huntsville, AL. The qualified candidate will perform Systems Engineering activities related to the Precision Fires and should be able to think holistically about a system and its requirements, have excellent critical thinking skills and can apply them to all aspects. The selected candidate will work in an Agile environment and attend regular scrum meetings, develop new requirements, export requirement verification matrices from DOORS, author technical documentation, and perform other related systems engineering tasks.

Qualifications Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years or more experience; four (4) years’ experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:

Interim Secret required prior to employment with the ability to obtain full Secret Clearance.

Required Skills:

Strong background in analyzing existing system requirements and the ability to assimilate the interaction of these requirements with other functional areas such as Software Safety, Test, and Cyber. Experience supporting Systems Engineering throughout the Life Cycle of full Software development.
Good understanding or experience working with system engineering throughout the Army Acquisition Life Cycle would be considered a very strong plus.
Experience with data support in

IBM DOORS

9.6.x is a plus. Experience such as establishing links between requirements, creating objects in DOORS modules, etc. Note that the SEs in this position actively use DOORS and do not simply interact with a DOORS administrator for requirement data.
Experience with Microsoft Azur DevOps (ADO) in requirement support is a plus. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
