Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide computer science and softwareengineering research support for Army S&T projects: Research and implement innovative computing and software systemsengineering approaches within the Future Vertical Lift Family ofSystems. Advise government on implementation of computing and/or softwarestrategies for aviation platforms and potentially, groundsystems. Coordinate with other project engineers to develop methods topredict software module interactions. Participate in working groups and collaborative organizations topromote and advance engineering principles.
Desired Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or systemsengineering with a mathematics background in optimization.
Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions:
Experience can besubstituted for education. Six (6) years work experience or Associate’s Degree plus four (4)years work experience may be substituted for a
Bachelor’sDegree Security Clearance Required:
Secret Clearance.
