Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer, Senior Staff to join the team supporting the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) and US Army Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) Programs. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, integration, and testing of these advanced systems.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the integration and flight testing endeavors of the program, overseeing technical direction, planning, staffing, and execution of a team dedicated to system-level integration and testing, ensuring the weapon system meets its performance, safety, and functional objectives.
- Manage the allocation of Systems and Project Engineering resources for the program, and offer programmatic and proposal support.
- Offer guidance to a Systems Engineering team, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development to weapons system operations and integration.
- Establish, oversee, and unicate team expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
- Collaborate with government and customer
representatives to support critical daily space-based operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities. - Some travel may be required.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 – $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
