Job Title:
Technician – Integration Engineering I – B Shift
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble precision rocket engine components including combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, avionics, and test
Conduct root cause analysis and diagnostic component disassembly, repair, and work
Perform hydraulic testing for valve actuation and nitrogen and helium leak testing
Prepare components for environmental and hydro proof structural testing
Maintain strict cleanliness requirements for liquid/gaseous oxygen compatibility
Support the design, procurement, installation, and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment
Skills Required:
0 to 8 years of direct experience in valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly
Mastery of precision and tight tolerance assembly
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings
Extensive experience reading and understanding specification and detailed work instructions
Proven experience and successful track record developing new processes
Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for limited durations
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary
Willingness to travel for the first 6-12 months for training.
