Job Description
AM/NS Calvert seeks experienced engineers to fill Mechanical Maintenance/Reliability Engineer position. Multiple positions available. Responsible for maintaining the readiness and reliability of the mechanical equipment processes of employer’s steel manufacturing/refining facility in Calvert, Alabama.
Daily duties include:
Analyze equipment performance data to identify sectors of production line that require maintenance or calibration Perform regular equipment inspection and predictive maintenance calculations Use simulation and workflow software to plan maintenance projects Design solutions for maintenance issues and support execution through testing and modeling Ensure that all technical manuals and drawings for training and equipment maintenance are up-to-date for mechanical engineering issues. Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, such as Industrial, Mechatronic, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering (foreign equivalent accepted). Must have two years of experience in maintenance engineering in automated manufacturing or product handling environment. Experience must be in maintenance/reliability engineering and must include: experience with rotational equipment; experience with hydraulics systems; experience with lubrication systems; experience using AutoCAD; experience applying efficiency principles, such as LEAN, Six Sigma, or World Class Manufacturing.
