System software Engineer Position Available In Brevard, Florida

Job Description:

The Software Systems Engineer analyzes new situations,formulates new ideas and generates requirements with sufficientdetail to start a new design. The Engineer applies broad knowledgeof hardware, software and network technologies to generate systemlevel design solutions. He or she investigates and resolves networkand hardware matters of significance; researches, analyzes,isolates and resolves errors; assesses and updates networks asneeded and in accordance with specified plans.

Interactions:

Supervision Received Plans and carries out work assignments; resolves most conflictswhich arise; coordinates work with others as necessary; interpretspolicy on own initiative in terms of established objectives. KeepsTeamleader informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications

Supervisory Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science orrelated technical field o Minimum five years experience in electronics or avionicsindustry o Three or more years of experience in data, voice or videonetworks o Experience with Networking fundamentals such as

TCP / IP

Protocolstack o Ability to understand concepts of network such as routing / DNS /DHCP etc o Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which theposition is located o Must pass 10 year background check and drug test

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o Broad knowledge of hardware, software and networktechnologies o Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to generatedesign solutions o Experience working with network systems and networkingprinciples, data, voice or video o Experience working with network software and hardware, data,voice or video o Knowledgeable in one or more of these areas: satellite TVnetworks, large ground networks, communication systems, Hardwaredesign, Software design, audio and video processing, wirelessEthernet and/or signal processing We are an equal employment opportunity employer and will considerall qualified candidates without regard to disability or protectedveteran status.
