This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Applies broad multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical and electrical/electronic) knowledge, skills, and methods as well as computer/software systems to design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune them appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide periodic status of Launch Systems Requirements, Design, Construction, and Verifications
Develop and implement requirements management processes using Cameo Systems Modeler
Work in Integrated Team Environment for definition and management of Internal and External Interfaces
Organize and Execute Technical Reviews
Support creation of systems safety documentation and reports
Create entrance criteria, and collect results of program reviews with stakeholders pertaining to safety assessments and reports, document action plans and updates requirements database
Prepare reports from requirements database for senior management review and use by other integrated product teams
Ensure higher-level system requirements are documented, traceable, and properly flowed down to sub-systems and components.
Oversee the process of importing requirements from Cameo into DOORS and ensure consistency and traceability.
Establish and maintain configuration management processes and tools to manage system artifacts

Qualifications:
Good communication skills, ability to work effectively in teams, good execution and coordination skills
Exposure in development and deployment of ground support systems for aerospace programs (mechanical, fluids and facility)
High proficiency in technical problem-solving, including decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, design optimization for production, lifecycle cost analysis, data analytics
Proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler and
IBM DOORS.
Product lifecycle experience from development through sustainment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or other technical field Proven experience in requirements management and configuration management in a systems engineering environment.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Desired:
Minimum 5 years working in a systems engineering, integration and test environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience encompassing all SE elements (requirements engineering, system architecture and design, system integration, V&V, configuration management, risk management, technical planning, technical reviews, decision analysis, sustainment). Minimum 5 years system development/integration experience – preferably with aerospace systems
Knowledge of current systems engineering and integration tools and methodologies
