Systems Engineer III Position Available In Duval, Florida

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join one of our clients in Jacksonville, FL to support a multi-year DoD program. The Systems Engineer analyzes customer requirements, develops solutions, and designs and implements real-time software and hardware systems for training devices. They also mentor junior engineers. Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance is needed by the program they support.

Day-to-Day:

Create requirements traceability matrices. Review requirements and develop architectural solutions. Design and implement real-time software and hardware systems. Present project status and engineering issues at review events. Collaborate with the team to meet budget, timeline, and scope. Conduct testing at customer sites and on pre-release products. Develop technical proposals and respond to RFPs and RFIs. Create documentation to meet CDRL requirements. Mentor junior engineers. Handle government-furnished equipment safely. Work standard hours with overtime as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. •  Advanced knowledge of excel
•  Past experience in other engineering disciplines
