PDM Focus Position Overview:

 Drive product vision and roadmap for global design and engineering platforms (PDM/PLM, CAD solutions). Partner with engineering teams to standardize practices, optimize workflows, and accelerate innovation while advancing strategic company goals.

Core Responsibilities Product Strategy:

Define product vision and roadmap for engineering systems

• Translate engineering needs into actionable features and user stories
• Manage backlog prioritization and AFE documentation
• Track benefits realization and ROI

Systems & Process Management:

Support CAD standards strategy (SolidWorks/SolidWorks Manage preferred)

• Drive automation initiatives and workflow standardization
• Manage integration between engineering systems and enterprise applications
• Coordinate global engineering team alignment

Strategic Leadership:

Execute engineering systems roadmaps with stakeholders

• Drive continuous improvement through metrics and feedback
• Lead change management for new processes and tools

Required Qualifications Technical Skills:

Engineering Data Management best practices

• CAD systems and design process experience
• PDM systems and product development lifecycle knowledge
• Agile methodologies expertise
• Robotic automation and integration tools familiarity

Business Skills:

Translate engineering requirements into prioritized features

• Benefits tracking and ROI analysis experience
• Strong stakeholder management
• Complex technical project management

Experience:

Associate’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field

• 3-5 years enterprise experience
• 2-3 years product management experience
• Background in engineering/manufacturing systems
• PDM/PLM platform experience

Key Performance Metrics Stakeholder Satisfaction:

 Team engagement, solution adoption, feedback scores

Process Efficiency:

 Workflow standardization, design cycle times, system performance

Role Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
3-5 years enterprise experience in related roles

Experience:

2-3 years product management experience
Background in engineering/manufacturing systems
Experience with PDM/PLM platforms
Demonstrated stakeholder management
