This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of IT systems while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. The Manager works closely with the Director to execute strategic initiatives and provides hands-on leadership to infrastructure teams, ensuring critical systems are resilient and responsive to business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Infrastructure Management Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals. Manage daily operations of network systems, cloud environments, and data center infrastructure. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that IT infrastructure meets evolving business requirements. Work with vendors and technology partners to support infrastructure initiatives and projects. Monitor system performance and coordinate necessary upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, procedures, and architecture. Business Continuity Planning Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Support business continuity drills and ensure readiness of IT systems in case of disruption. Assist in risk assessments and identify potential system vulnerabilities that could impact business operations. Leadership & Team Development Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and professional development to infrastructure team members. Promote a collaborative, service-oriented culture within the team. Support career development initiatives and skills enhancement for team members. Compliance & Best Practices Ensure infrastructure operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the separate security team to align infrastructure practices with organizational cybersecurity policies without direct control over security decisions. Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance IT operations and business resilience.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Experience 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and business continuity. Experience managing IT projects and providing team leadership. Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems, and network administration. Skills Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture and operations. Proficiency in business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including independent security teams.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role may be performed on-site, in a hybrid setting, or remotely depending on business needs. Occasional travel may be required for business continuity planning and vendor management.
