Scope of Work:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the project team. Develop and optimize Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) environments and pipelines. Analyze Azure resource performance, recommend optimizations, and manage resource scaling. Develop and maintain documentation, standards, technical specifications, and procedures. Inventory, document, install, and support applications hosted on Azure. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows and Linux server issues with minimal user impact. Write PowerShell scripts for monitoring and automation within ADO. Administer DevOps security for staff and users. Research, recommend, and implement technical solutions and process improvements. Create schedules and system test plans for software deployment. Perform Azure DevOps Administrator tasks as required. Deploy and maintain Azure resources and architecture for enterprise applications. Perform risk assessments and recommend security auditing and alerting solutions. Monitor and ensure the availability and integrity of cloud and on-prem resources. Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration. Establish and enforce infrastructure and DevOps standards and best practices. Utilize automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies. Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure timely resolution. Stay current with new technologies and advancements. Build and test infrastructure automation tools and manage code deployments. Monitor infrastructure metrics and implement improvement strategies. Maintain and monitor configuration standards and CI/CD tools. Lead daily project administration and agile-based software development. Improve existing processes and infrastructure to enhance performance and reliability. Plan for capacity and scalability; lead and mentor junior team members. Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Windows Server experience. 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). 3+ years of Linux server experience. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and virtual/cloud environments. Experience with third-party application installation and maintenance. Active certifications such as

MCSA, MCSE, HPE

ASE, VCP, or Fortinet NSE. Ability to create detailed Visio diagrams. Strong understanding of IT standards, change control processes, and documentation. Ability to prioritize, manage concurrent projects, and work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Analytical problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Experience with Agile or Kanban practices. Knowledge of infrastructure development, CI/CD, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby). Familiarity with tools and technologies such as OpenStack, AWS, Jenkins, and Maven. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Government tenants. 2+ years of SSL certificate management. Experience with Azure Data Warehouses. Experience preparing reports and briefings. Familiarity with IT standards in criminal justice or law enforcement environments. Ability to meet deadlines, work in fast-paced settings, and effectively prioritize tasks.
