Our client is currently seeking a SWIFT Subject Matter Expert (SME) We are seeking a skilled SWIFT Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our transition from on-premises SWIFT architecture to a SaaS solution. The ideal candidate will have extensive SWIFT experience and a proven track record in migrating enterprise applications to cloud-based solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. 5+ years as a SWIFT messaging SME or similar role. In-depth knowledge of SWIFT systems (SWIFTNet, SWIFT Alliance, MT, MX). Understanding of messaging protocols (ISO 20022, TCP/IP, MQ Series). Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SWIFT infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting, security, and disaster recovery skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the transition to a SaaS SWIFT solution. Design, implement, and maintain SWIFT systems. Collaborate with teams to integrate SWIFT with other applications. Develop best practices for performance, reliability, and security. Monitor and enhance system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve SWIFT system issues. Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements. Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Work with vendors to resolve issues. Document system configurations and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. SWIFT or related certifications. Project management experience.
