Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney! This role sits in the Commercial organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. The Systems Engineer will report to the Manager, Technology.

What You’ll Do:
- + Design, analyze, evaluate, test, debug and implement applications supporting company business processes and operations + Plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems + Contribute to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system architecture used throughout the DX Technology ecosystem + Support the design, analysis, and implementation of Technology investments supporting Commercial initiatives + Assist in triaging and facilitating product defect resolution in all environments spanning multiple applications and service layers + Monitor booking systems through tools such as Splunk to ensure that errors are minimized and capabilities delivered are working as expected + Assisting with new product build architecture, capabilities, and delivery methods and the impacts to core applications cross-functionally + You will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies
Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum 3 years of related work experience + Technical experience in consumer and employee facing enterprise systems + Ability to troubleshoot applications and systems + Expertise in maintaining web, caching, and queuing technologies in large high traffic environments. + Expertise in architecting highly scalable and highly available systems + Comfortable working in an agile environment + Proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and skill development, and an interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies
Required Education:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
