The Systems Engineering Directorate is the central focus forMission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsiblefor defining customer needs, functional and product architecture,requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based SystemsEngineering (MBSE), system performance, and System SecurityEngineering (SSE).The SPY-6 Family of Radars and the GhostEyefamily of radars are seeking a talented Systems Engineer II to helpin the execution of integration and analysis activities. In thisrole, the selected candidate will be responsible for helping toidentify issues, generate solutions, and verify the solutions areimplemented as designed. This role will require communicationskills to convey solutions and results to teammates andleadership.
This position can be located in either Marlborough, MAor Tewksbury, MA and may require occasional travel.
What You will
Do:
Development of concepts of operations for radar systems Radar processing algorithm development Radar software requirements development Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performancedata Analysis tool development in support of problem identificationand resolution Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to developand implement solutions Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/orCustomersAdditional focus areas for these radar systems are signalprocessing and waveform design, electronic protection methods,phased array and digital beamforming technology, radar search,track and discrimination design, target and threat modeling,integration and test of large radar systems, MBSE.
- This positionrequires daily on-site support and is not open to hybrid or remotepossibilities
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology,Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevantexperience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issuedsecurity clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a securityclearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance Experience with design, development, and analysis of radarsystem and software architectures Experience with signal processing techniques in complexpropagation environments Design experience in the following radar system areas; antenna,receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensortrack management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing,clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronicprotect, sensor resource management and mission planning Excellent written and oral communication skills Requirements development experience, including use ofDOORS Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++ Experience with technical writing and oral presentations Masters/PhD in a STEM fieldWhat We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with avision for a safer, more connected world.

Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will workprimarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenanceemployees, as they are essential to the development of ourproducts.
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD
- 130,000USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimaterepresentative of all experience levels. RTX considers severalfactors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, therole, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s workexperience, location, education/training, and key skills.
