Description Senior Systems Engineer III (InSITE) “W-TRS” Orlando, Florida Hybrid Opportunity V2X is seeking a Systems Architect to join our Engineering team in Orlando, FL. The Systems Architect will work in an integrated product team supporting the development and integration of advanced software systems. The Systems Architect provides program support throughout the development life cycle, from concept development, requirements definition, functional analysis, design review support, system implementation, integration, verification, and validation. The Systems Architect will work within a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), where effective communication and team-building skills are critical to success. The ideal candidate embraces a cross-functional team working within an agile development framework. We are looking for engineers that enjoy a challenge and have a passion to support our DoD customers and international allies.
Required skills:
Minimum of 8 years of experience with development, integration and test of military avionics systems or similarly complex systems
Model Based Systems Engineering experience
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Experience providing leadership, technical direction, and guidance to multi-disciplined teams
Strong accountability with the ability to work autonomously to deliver high quality work products on-schedule
Understanding of the System Engineering Lifecycle and processes
Experience and/or knowledge of Agile techniques (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, etc.)
Experience with requirements analysis and development
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to support customer meetings, and integration and installation events
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance Desired skills: Proficient with Cameo MagicDraw
Familiar with Cameo MagicGrid framework
Proficient in DOORS Next Generation (DNG)
Current Active DoD Secret or higher
