This role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control facility in Orlando, FL working a 4/10 Flex schedule.
- What You Will Be Doing
- As the Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for working across the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) working closely with teams responsible for hardware development, other program functions and directorates, and across the supplier base, to ensure a disciplined systems engineering approach is applied in the completion of the product baseline development, integration, and verification efforts, as well as the planning and execution of current and future changes.
This role will be the hardware development team’s primary interface to the Requirements, Architecture, and Verification team, Configuration Control Board, and the Production Directorate.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in STEM Field
- Knowledge of system architecture design and development using MBSE

Desired Skills:
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts across multiple programs and projects for System Requirement Review (SRR), Conceptual Design Review (CDR), and Preliminary Design Review (PDR)
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models for advanced aerospace systems, streamlining system architecture design, analysis, and integration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform open system architecture design and partitioning.
- Perform System functionality definition including system states and modes, and anti-tamper and cyber security design features.
- Conduct Model based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance/behaviors.
- Define system design for software requirements, FPGA functional interfaces, bus loading, and mission planning features.
- Perform supply chain management activity for specification generation and anti-tamper and cybersecurity provisioning.
- Generate ICDs and verify compliance of supplier designs and capabilities.
- DOORS and MATLAB experience.
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Mission planning experience, and/or software development experience.
- Perform Cybersecurity design activities related to threat identification, defensive measures, and optimal system architecture.
- Define Anti-tamper capabilities related to secure software boot and crypto key handling.
- Perform System analysis related to Safety of Flight (SOF) modeling and requirements provisions.

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
