Seeking a Systems Engineer for utility-scaleBESS plants. TheControl Systems engineer will be able to develop controls logic, implement complex programs, createprotocols for site verification, testing, troubleshooting, and certifying all control system projectrequirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Work with equipment suppliers to perform factory integrationtesting of new hardware designs to validate requirements
- Develop processes for managing common and project-specificcontrol system requirements across a large fleet of power plants
- Oversee development and implementation of all control systemproject requirements
- Support commissioning team during plant turnover
- Work with cross functional teams and support as plant controlsSME for both internal and external customers
Experience:
- A subject matter expert in the Power Generation industry, withestablished expertise in power plant controls and renewable energy
- Ability to manage deliverables from domestic and foreignsuppliers
- Experience developing and verifying software requirementsthroughout the project lifecycle
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meetdeadlines by setting priorities
Skills:
Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer Multilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Korean) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education:
Master’s Degree OR Engineering degree or technicaldegree in a related technical area
