Job Description Insight Gloabl is seeking a Systems Engineer for utility-scale BESS plants. Employees in this role have the responsibility of developing requirements-related processes and creating control systems requirements and for utility-scale energy storage projects. The Control Systems engineer will be able to develop controls logic, implement complex programs, create protocols for site verification, testing, troubleshooting, and certifying all control system project requirements are met Duties & Responsibilities Work with equipment suppliers to perform factory integration testing of new hardware designs to validate requirements Develop processes for managing common and project-specific control system requirements across a large fleet of power plants Oversee development and implementation of all control system project requirements Support commissioning team during plant turnover Work with cross functional teams and support as plant controls SME for both internal and external customers We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
