Cloud Services Systems Engineer Position Available In Seminole, Florida

Foundation Risk Partners , one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Cloud Services Systems Engineer to their team in the Orlando, FL Metro Region.

Job Summary:

The Cloud Services Systems Engineer is a member of the FRP team responsible for supporting our cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for the deployment and operation of enterprise cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across our cloud platforms. You will work with a team of IT Professionals and collaborate with both IT leadership and business stakeholders to drive innovation and support business goals.

Essential Functions:

Design, implement, and support scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure Systems monitoring and performance tuning Incident response and troubleshooting User ticket support and resource provisioning Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure the environment is operating as expected and is meeting Foundation Risk Partners standards and operational requirements Work collaboratively with the team to identify appropriate solutions Attend meetings and provide request and project updates Implement and test cloud backup and recovery plans Evaluate and integrate new cloud tools, services, and technologies to support digital transformation efforts Deploy software, applications, policies and configurations with Microsoft Intune Troubleshoot and manage endpoints connected to the environment Support and Maintains Azure IAAS resources (Azure Virtual Desktop, Virtual Machines, Azure storage, Azure Networking. Facilitate and manage migration of on-premises and non FRP hosted resources to FRP cloud environment Provides guidance, training, and feedback to dependent functions

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred) 7+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in a cloud-focused role

Qualifications:

Hands-on expertise in managing cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 services and Intune Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies Experience in endpoint management and support (patching, troubleshooting, device configuration policies, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks Experience in regulated industries (e.g., insurance, healthcare, financial services). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Demonstrated success in managing cloud migrations and cost optimization initiatives Scripting, Software Deployment and endpoint management with
