• The role you’ll contribute:
• The Intermediate Enterprise Security Architect provides security solutions that meet business and technical requirements and align to the overall architectural vision and strategy.

These solutions will protect AHS information, address regulatory requirements and align to the security framework. The Intermediate Architect will also assess and optimize existing security services to ensure they continue to meet changing requirements through research and understanding of current and emerging threats to the rapidly changing healthcare information technology landscape.

• Identify business requirements that affect the enterprise security architecture and provide solutions that integrate into the overall architectural vision and strategy
• Design information security solutions to protect AHS information; address regulatory requirements and align to security framework
• Assessment and optimization of existing security solutions to ensure they address current requirements
• Research current and emerging threats to healthcare information systems
• Identification and evaluation of new security technologies that address the changing threat landscape
• Ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of AHS Information Assets
• Participate in the development and governance of security specifications, standards, and processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and the efficiency of security services in providing those controls
• Mentor Associate Security Architects Qualifications
• The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• MUST have experience in an Enterprise Healthcare System setting
• MUST have experience with security lines as a Security Engineer, Threat Analyst or Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding security risks, identifying gaps and creating strategies and solutions
• In-depth technical knowledge of complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to perform a risk-based approach to securing applications, databases or infrastructure based upon technology and business needs
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing security controls and processes
• Knowledge of information security principles and practices

• KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks
• Understanding of the threat landscape facing enterprise healthcare
• Regulatory compliance in Healthcare
• Data Security Frameworks in Healthcare
• Knowledge of security incident response processes
• Knowledge of Blue Team/Red Team functions
• Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 7 years experience in information technology
• 3 years experience in information security

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10 years experience in information technology
• 5 years experience in information security

• LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED

• SECURITY or equivalent certification

• LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or
• Global Information Assurance Certification
• General Security (GSEC)
