Day To Day Responsbilities:
Telecom Client Strategic Platforms Infrastructure Operations teamis looking for a passionate CDN.Systems Engineer. This role isneeded to adequately support CDN.configuration for hundreds ofClient’s applications and domains setup in the CDN. Required Qualifications Must have 3 years of level of real world CDN.configurationexperience managing various CDN.features across multiple domains.
Experience with other CDNs considered. Ex. Fastly, CloudFlare,Imperva, Cloudfront, etc. Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace,Prometheus/Grafana, ELK stack, ability to understand metrics andimpact to system performance, and ability to build dashboards andalerts to ensure system reliability. Experience with Siteshield and other CDN.security features. Strong scripting and coding ability across multiple languages andtechnologies Willingness to work flexible hours, oncall as needed. Proven experience optimizing reliability and performance andscaling technical infrastructure in a fast paced and collaborativeenvironment Strong analytical skills and ability to provide data drivenrecommendations for critical decision making, mainly around systemreconfiguration and improvement 5+ years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, sitereliability, devops, system infrastructure, or a related technicalrole 5+ years of experience building and/or supporting webapplications 5+ years of Linux Operating Systems experience includingscripting Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstratedability to present complex technical information in a clear mannerto peers, developers, and senior leaders Optional Qualifications Internet security related experience Experience in performance tuning and application monitoring Experience in architecture and design of web based architecture Experience in a technical leadership capacity – team lead/manageretc.
