  • Requirement:
  • Design, Deploy, configure, and Manage Apache Cassandra clusters on various environments on on-perm and AWS
  • Monitoring database platform performance, health, and security.
  • Troubleshooting database and platform issues, including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and software bugs.
  • Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
  • Optimizing queries, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to enhance database performance and efficiency.
  • Automating administrative tasks using scripts and tools.
  • Managing user access and permissions.
  • Documenting database configurations and procedures.
  • Additional Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, and automation tools like Ansible.
  • Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and availability
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues. Ability to collaborate with development teams on data modelling and other aspects of database management
