Job Description
Requirement:
Design, Deploy, configure, and Manage Apache Cassandra clusters on various environments on on-perm and AWS Monitoring database platform performance, health, and security. Troubleshooting database and platform issues, including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and software bugs. Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime. Optimizing queries, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to enhance database performance and efficiency. Automating administrative tasks using scripts and tools. Managing user access and permissions. Documenting database configurations and procedures.
Additional Skills and Responsibilities:
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, and cloud-native technologies. Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, and automation tools like Ansible. Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and availability Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues.
Ability to collaborate with development teams on data modelling and other aspects of database management
