Role OverviewAs an Enterprise Architect, youwill be responsible for the very foundations of software productsoffered by PDI. You will play a key role in designing and buildinga cloud platform which serves as a base for products’ microservicesand encapsulates all cross-cutting concerns as well as promotesbest architectural practices. As the PDI software base grows indiversity and complexity, your role will be to enable product teamsto utilize the cloud platform to achieve horizontal scalability,resiliency, seamlessly integrate with identity management platformand much more.
You need to be able to adapt and learn very quicklyon a continuous basis. Successful architects are also excellentcommunicators. You will be working hand in hand with SeniorEngineers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, Managers and otherstakeholders to ensure platform adoption and discover and fulfillbusiness needs. You will be actively involved in coaching andevangelizing developer teams on how to use the platform as well asadding new functionality based on developer feedback andrequirements.
Key Responsibilities Evangelize the PDI cloud maturity strategy across the productteams and identify opportunities for improving existing hybridcloud software solutions. Proactively assist product engineering technical leaders inidentifying cloud maturity acceleration opportunities and helpingthem construct their technical roadmaps. Be a catalyst for cloud platform adoption by raising awarenessof the platform, communicating its business & engineering benefits,and getting the global product teams excited about it. Be well versed in the cost benefits & value of cloud maturityand adoption to effectively communicate with both business &technical stakeholders. Design, implement, improve, and support software architecturesolutions to serve business goals. Provide architectural guidance and design leadership to ourglobal product engineering teams. Research, evaluate, and recommend tools, technologies, andsoftware processes to improve quality and productivity of softwaresolutions.
Qualifications 5+ years as a Software Architect for on-premise and cloudapplications, with 5-9 years in software development. Expertise in scalable, redundant enterprise architecture andenterprise integration patterns.
Proficient in SPA frameworks:
Angular (preferred), React,Vue. Strong programming skills in C# (preferred), Java, Go, C++,Rust. Experience with
SQL RDBMS
administration & scripting (DDL,DML).
Hands-on with cloud platforms:
AWS (preferred), Azure, GoogleCloud. Deep knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker,Kubernetes), and serverless computing. Familiar with
API Gateways:
AWS (preferred), Apigee.
Proficiency in messaging frameworks:
Kafka (preferred). Strong understanding of networking, security, and identitymanagement (Okta preferred).
Experience with DevOps practices:
CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins,observability tools. Skilled in Infrastructure as
Code:
Terraform, Ansible,SaltStack.
Experience with native mobile development:
.NET Maui(preferred), Xamarin, NativeScript, Cordova. Strong communicator, able to translate technical concepts fornon-technical audiences. Self-motivated problem-solver with a collaborative mindset andability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications Angular, C#, and AWS as preferred technologies. Experience with .NET Maui, Xamarin, NativeScript, or Cordovafor native mobile development. Strong grasp of UML and architecture diagramming.
