Mid Level DevOps Engineer / Remote / AWS or Google Cloud Platform
A growing energy and utility industrial software company here in Atlanta is looking for a new team member to help them with their B2B customers. This is a mid-level DevOps engineering position that is full-time and fully remote here in the USA. As they acquire other companies, you will help build cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform, maintain systems to help with no down time, and help support their DevOps team. You will be reporting directly to their Manager of DevOps and working on a small team with lots of growth opportunity! There are a ton of new and exciting projects you will be helping their customers with from the comfort of your own home. A strong engineer will have a background in Python, Google Cloud Platform/AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes and Datadog. This is a great opportunity for those who value work life balance. Required Skills & Experience
3-6 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems related role Strong containerization usage of Kubernetes Ability to build cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform/ AWS environments Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools like Datadog, ELK, or similar Provide support for engineering teams and customer onboarding Maintenance and experience with eliminating down time in production environment Desired Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Terraform Prior experience working with B2B software Scripting abilities with Python / Java / Shell Familiarity in Linux environments Comfortability with some on-call requirements What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities 30% Development 70% Operations The Offer
