If so, our team is searching for a Full Stack Member of TechnicalStaff to collaborate with a team of software engineers indesigning, developing, and deploying cloud-native solutions thatmeet customer needs. In this role, the MTS will be responsible forcreating and implementing full-stack software solutions, includingfront-end web frameworks, back-end services, microservices,databases, and the cloud infrastructure necessary for deploymentand maintenance. As a key contributor, the MTS will play a critical role in theentire software development lifecycle-from ideation to deploymentand ongoing support. We’re looking for a well-rounded engineer withexpertise across the full software stack, who thrives in a dynamic,collaborative environment. Imagines, designs and builds full stack web solutions includingboth the back end and front end Code Review and mentoring of other team members Imagines, designs and builds advanced scheduled jobs andmicro-services defining new patterns and orchestrations Imagines, designs and implements advanced data storagemechanisms using relational and non-relational data stores Explores, builds and configures cloud services usinginfrastructure as code. Recommends new cloud services andpatterns Presents ideas which improve an existingsystem/process/service. Presents new ideas which utilize newframeworks to improve an existing system/process/service Collaborates with team to break down features into user storiesand estimate them Awareness of technology roadmap. Updates job knowledge bytracking and understanding emerging engineering practices.
Continuously learns, creates content, and teaches others specificsubject areas. Informally coaches and contributes to thedevelopment of others through mentoring or in house workshops andlearning sessions. Coach and develop engineers across functionalteams on technology decisions. Influence technology and policydecisions made at Director+ level across organization. Understandfinancial decisions, including NPV and ROI, based on customerexperience/business drivers. Present highly technical concepts toboth technical and non-technical decision-makers Provides direction on creation of reliability practices,metrics and tooling based on industry best practices and incidentdata.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, engineering or relatedfield of study (Required)
Work Experience:
9+ years technical engineering experience, including full-stackweb development (front-end and back-end) (Required) 7+ years or experience in database schema design and writingSQL (Required) 3+ years DevOps experience, including infrastructure as code(Required) 4+ years hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure,GCP) (Required) 3+ years experience mentoring and coaching team members
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expertise in multiple technologies and software stacks(Required) Strong understanding of cloud capabilities and how to optimizethem for team success (Required) Ability to setup a completely new full stack environment fromscratch including build steps and backend infrastructure(Required) Proficiency in html, css, webpack, JavaScript, at least onefront end framework and one backend framework (Required) Solid grasp of web protocols, how full stack applicationsoperate and data flows (Required) Experience with database modeling and SQL. Capable ofperformance tuning and refactoring from one data store to another(Required) In-depth knowledge cloud system parameters, configurations, andhow to alter them for desired results (Required) In-depth knowledge of triage techniques, tools for performancetuning Java, language is required. Similar skill in Python and Gois desired. Strong Dev-Ops background and CI-CD pipeline knowledge isrequired Background in developing software standards.

Corporate Bonus Target:
20% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successfulcandidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay willbe based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications,and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within thisrange. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligiblefor an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based ontheir role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-endbonus based on company and/or individual performance and which isset at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in theprior year.
