We are looking for a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team in Alpharetta, GA. The Cloud Engineering team designs and builds public cloud solutions globally at Equifax. We automate project creation, IAM, networking and everything in between in Google Cloud Platform. This is a high visibility role on a high visibility team that is revolutionizing how Equifax delivers systems and software. The work we do is making Equifax a better place to work! We’re a tight-knit group of like-minded individuals with a wide variety of technical backgrounds and experience ranging from software engineering to enterprise architecture. We believe everything should be automated and everything can be done with code. To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta, GA . You are required to adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including

extension support. What you will do Develop and implement short and long-term roadmaps for their respective domains Implement complex infrastructure products through engineering and automation that enables configuration and service management Provides guidance to technical staff within their domain Consult and advise on systems engineering and design Streamline deployment of infrastructure into consumable services Design new, automate where appropriate Full alignment with the Engineering Handbook guidelines and practices What experience you need BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required; Master’s Degree preferred; AI/ML coursework preferred 7+ years of related work experience Certification in cloud or automation preferred Experience in one or more cloud environments (GCP and AWS) and on-premises system virtualization Experience using one or more automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Go) Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, javascript) preferred Solid understanding of networking Experience with one or more other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc) Experience deploying open source systems into highly regulated environments Experience with security frameworks and implementing preventative security control systems preferred What could set you apart Strong communication skills Conflict resolution skills Absolutely must be a team player Boundless passion for technology and a willingness to learn and teach Experience working in a corporate services organization serving multiple business units #LI-Hybrid #LI-Kc1 We offer comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, 401k matching, paid time off, and organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks.
