Role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to lead a critical cloud data modernization initiative. This role involves migrating an on-premises SQL Server-based Enterprise Data Warehouse to a modern cloud platform using Azure and Snowflake technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of ETL processes from on-premises SQL Server to Azure and Snowflake Design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Self-hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR), Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), Azure Blob Storage, and Snowflake Analyze and refactor existing SSIS and
T-SQL ETL
processes Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitHub Actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and flow Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines Ensure compliance with data security and industry standards
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud data migration and warehousing Proven leadership in data migration or modernization projects Strong expertise in SQL Server, Azure data services (ADF, SHIR, Logic Apps, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage), and Snowflake Experience with data validation and testing automation tools Proficiency in defining and executing data testing methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively “Judge”) to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
