What we needCorpay is currently looking to hire a Junior Cloud Data Engineer within our Fuel division. This position falls under our North America Fuel line of business and will be based out of our office in Peachtree Corners, GA. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cloud Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with senior engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and scalable for analytics and operational needs. Role Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Support the implementation and monitoring of data workflows using ETL/ELT tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through validation and testing processes.

Contribute to the documentation of data processes, systems, and best practices.

Learn and apply DevOps and DataOps practices to data engineering workflows.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to data ingestion, processing, and storage.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.

Exposure to programming/scripting languages like Python, Java, or Scala.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.

Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
