Position Purpose
The primary function of this profile is to provide architectural and technology leadership, oversight, recommendations, and transition strategies that optimize the alignment of business strategies and capabilities to the foundational and enabling IT capabilities needed to support them. This position will include oversight of processes needed to formalize and operationalize the enterprise-wide architecture, oversight of key technology investments, and evaluation of emerging technology. This is achieved by working across all major domains of the Enterprise Architecture practice, namely Application Architecture, Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, and Solution Architecture. This position will include management of Architecture staff.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience required
Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Work Experience
5 years of relevant technology or architecture experience required.
3 years of healthcare insurance industry required, experience can run concurrently.
Prior experience leading a team.
Requires working technical knowledge at a structural and strategic level across a broad range of IT disciplines including current applications development methodology/languages, project management and service capabilities with experience in some or all of the architecture disciplines of infrastructure, security, application, cloud, solution, data, or business.
Experienced with large scale technology platforms
Experience with public cloud platforms required, Azure preferred.

Directs target state technology architecture and roadmaps.
Oversees alignment of technology initiatives with the target state.
Builds strong partnerships with engineering to ensure proper alignment of skills with technology direction.
