We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our AI Platforms and Services Engineering team, a group at the forefront of delivering innovative AI solutions across the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of AI Platforms and Services, you will be responsible for guiding and developing engineering teams specializing in software engineering, machine learning engineering, and infrastructure engineering. In this pivotal role, you will manage teams responsible for the full spectrum of AI service development. From building scalable AI-integrated products and innovative machine learning engineering solutions to ensuring robust infrastructure engineering and crafting reusable AI microservices/APIs to empower our customers, your leadership will be critical to driving the technical design and execution of product offerings. This role will also include overseeing teams dedicated to delivering Gen AI applications utilizing RAG and scaling AI Agents for widespread deployment. While collaborating closely with dedicated Product Managers on product vision, you will have primary responsibility for translating the product roadmap into detailed technical specifications, prioritizing engineering tasks based on business value, and identifying technical opportunities to enhance product capabilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong working knowledge of Python, along with general familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. They should also have some hands-on experience leading platform engineering and/or full stack software engineering teams, accompanied by at least a general familiarity with AI as a service. The candidate should also bring foundational understanding of MLOps principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure efficient AI and application delivery.
