Job Description The ServiceNowPlatform Architect serves as a technical leader, offeringconsultative guidance to the Platform Support Team, ensuring theplatform aligns with business strategy, and making governancedecisions. As a Platform Architect for ServiceNow, you will leadthe design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to enhanceemployee experiences, streamline service delivery, ensure robustsecurity and governance, and drive digital transformationinitiatives. With your extensive experience in ServiceNowarchitecture and knowledge of the latest technologies, you will actas a trusted advisor, overseeing the development and adoption ofthe platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams todevelop solutions that align with enterprise objectives andsimplify complex processes, thereby maximizing value through a”simple, streamlined, and scalable” approach. Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Strategy & Roadmap Develops and evolve a platformarchitectural roadmap, aligned to and prioritized by businessobjectives. Develops and communicates measurements of platformprogress and business impact. Guides Product teams as they design,implement, and support solutions that centre on the consumption ofthe platform. Manages stakeholder requirements for platform teamsto ensure successful delivery. Collaborates with Takeda ServiceNowaccount and Impact teams to drive continuous value. Translatesbusiness requirements into technical requirements that othertechnical team members include in the project design and delivery.
Platform Architecture Establish technical Governance and standardsfor ServiceNow product development, configuration, and foundationthat prioritize simplicity, reusability, AI and automation Drivesthe overall technical design and end-to-end platform design forassigned initiatives. Influences/coaches modern evolutionaryplatform architecture principles, practices and adoption of newfeatures (Agentic AI, NowAssist, HyperAutomation, AIOps). Partnerswith Enterprise, Solution, Domain architects, ServiceNow Accountand Impact team to identify and enable the top strategictechnologies/platforms that will help shape Takeda’s technologyfootprint to support cross-enterprise business requirements.
Designs reference and platform architectures based on specificbusiness constraints, requirements and dependencies. Designsarchitecture components, including design and documentation ofarchitecture relevant platform changes or enhancements. Reviews andidentifies gaps in architecture and assesses and definesremediation efforts or mitigation options. Drives cross-domaininitiatives that are supported by E2E Design, applies digitalstandards to project platform architecture, and drives technicalstrategy and architectural tradeoff discussions. Collaborate withUX and digital teams to enhance ServiceNow products, ensuring anintuitive experience that promotes adoption and usability.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
9 years ofexperience in ServiceNow solution architecture, product design, andimplementation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ArtificialIntelligence, or a related field. 6 years of Extensive knowledge ofServiceNow’s key platform capabilities (e.g., Intelligence,Automation, Omni channel engagements, Foundation Data, Automatedtesting) 5 years of Experience with Servicenow UX Framework, UIActions, UI Policies, Glide records, Script Includes, BusinessRules, & ACLs within the ServiceNow framework (preferred) 5 yearsExtensive architecture experience and strategic mindset totranslate enterprise goals into ServiceNow product solutions,driving towards intelligence-based citizen development. 6 yearsDeep knowledge of ServiceNow’s key product suites (e.g., ITSM,ITOM, CSM, SecOps, IRM, HRSD, AppEngine). 8 years of Fundamentalunderstanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNowintegration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services,Graph
QL, REST, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC.
(required) ServiceNow CertifiedImplementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer(CAD) required ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)desired 3 years of Experience with Gen
AI, ML, NLP
, AIOps, VirtualAgent, Employee Center, WorkFlow Data Fabric and Process Automationframeworks, Mobile. Strong emphasis on Customer service andproviding best-in-class end-user support. Base Salary Range:
The estimated salary range reflects ananticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offeredmay depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications ofthe individual applicant for the position, years of relevantexperience, specific and unique skills, level of educationattained, certifications or other professional licenses held, andthe location in which the applicant lives and/or from which theywill be performing the job.
The actual base salary offered will bein accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for thejob location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-termand/or long-termincentives.
