Responsibilities Installation, maintenance and administration of Windows Serverand Active Directory Management of Microsoft server security configuration andpatching Provisioning and administration of user access credentials andfolder permissions Maintenance and administration of DHCP, DNS, FTP and othernetwork services Administration of server hardware and software inventories anddocumentation Desktop and Server support escalation Knowledge of and applied experience of handling performancemonitoring and tuning Ability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-callschedule Monitor and work customer support tickets and requests Respond to server resource monitoring alerts Enterprise backup system experience Take charge troubleshooting complex problems that span multipletechnology stacks Work with a sense of urgency in solving issues, removingroadblocks and improving user experience Collaborate with IT and Business leaders to develop functionalstrategies Actively and effectively listen to business needs and discernpatterns of capabilities that need to be delivered Propose new and emerging technologies to support the company’sbusiness goals and objectives Communicate and translate technical issues to non-technicalbusiness partners Develop and maintain policies and procedures Act as the project coordinator for technology projects bydetailing out project plans and communicating out regular statusupdates Managing and calculating licensing contract costs Demonstrate strong, positive-oriented leadership skillsQualifications Expert level Windows engineering (Full on prem Microsoftstack) Expert level in Hyper-V (Including large scale highly availableclustered environments) Experience with multiple physical server vendors (Racking,cabling, power, patching, imaging) Experience with multiple SAN storage vendors (Racking, cabling,power, patching, imaging) 6+ years’ experience in server configuration management,administration and production support Microsoft Server systems certifications such as Microsoft
MCP,MCSA, MCSE, MCITP
