Weare currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated PermanentSystems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an excitingopportunity to work in a fast-paced environment in the Engineeringindustry, focusing on defense industry projects. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycleof system development and implementation, providing technicalguidance to the engineering team, and ensuring all projects meetdefense industry standards. This role requires a deep understandingof interface control documents, DoD Defense planning manufacturing,VCRM, functional analysis, and the ability to translaterequirements into hardware and software specifications. The abilityto solve complex problems is a must.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseethe entire life cycle of system development and implementation,ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget. 2.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team,fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 3.Ensure all projects adhere to defense industry standards and bestpractices. 4. Develop and maintain interface control documents,utilizing your expertise in DoD Defense planning manufacturing andVCRM. 5. Conduct functional analysis and translate requirementsinto hardware and software specifications, ensuring all systemcomponents meet the needs of the end-user. 6. Solve complexproblems, utilizing your analytical skills to identify the rootcause of issues and develop effective solutions. 7. Collaboratewith cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and qualityassurance, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ComputerScience, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience inthe Engineering industry, with a focus on the defense sector. 3.Extensive experience with interface control documents, DoD Defenseplanning manufacturing, and VCRM. 4. Proven track record in systemdevelopment and implementation. 5. Exceptional problem-solvingskills, with the ability to think critically and develop effectivesolutions to complex challenges. 6. Strong knowledge of defenseindustry standards and best practices. 7. Excellent communicationskills, with the ability to provide technical guidance andmentorship to a team. 8. Experience in functional analysis andtranslating requirements into hardware and software specifications.9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managemultiple projects simultaneously. 10. Must be a team player, with acommitment to continuous learning and improvement.
