About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices and security standards
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost
Collaborate with development teams to provide cloud solutions and support
Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
AWS Expertise:
7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services including:
EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda
ECS/EKS
Route53, CloudFront
IAM and Security best practices
CloudWatch monitoring and logging
Infrastructure as
Code:
Strong experience with Terraform
Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation
Version control with Git
Programming & Scripting:
Python programming experience
Shell scripting (Bash)
Experience with
JSON/YAML
DevOps Tools:
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or similar)
Docker containerization
Additional Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of networking fundamentals
Understanding of security best practices
Experience with Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-account AWS organizations
HashiCorp Certified:
Terraform Associate certification
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Team collaboration
Project management capabilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
