Observability Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Observability Engineer to define and tune monitoring solutions aligned with industry best practices. This role focuses on improving observability across infrastructure and applications, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Define new monitoring standards and strategies aligned with observability best practices.
Infrastructure monitoring is mandatory.
Application stack monitoring is nice to have.
Tune monitoring definitions to reduce operational noise.
Implement and manage observability tools and practices within SolarWinds and ServiceNow ITOM AIOPs.
ITOM AIOPs Event Management:
Tune and optimize monitoring policies, event rules, and configuration of Operational Intelligence.
Optimize the architecture of Midservers used for monitoring.
Configure Health Log Analytics:
Identify and recommend logging sources.
Enhance existing monitoring with analytics capabilities.
Configure Agent Client Collector (ACC)
Monitoring:
Enhance existing ACC monitoring to support the retirement of SolarWinds for server monitoring.
Set up Service and CI binding rules for effective monitoring.
Preferred Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with SolarWinds, ServiceNow ITOM, and AIOPs tools.
Deep understanding of monitoring architecture and event management.
Ability to configure and optimize complex monitoring environments.
