Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure systems.
Implement and manage observability tools and practices, ensuring system reliability, performance, and uptime.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure, application performance, and system health.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system scalability, reliability, and automation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
Proactively identify and address potential system bottlenecks, reliability risks, and performance issues.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews to continuously improve system resiliency.
Advocate for SRE principles, best practices, and observability improvements across teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong foundation in DevOps practices and tooling.
2-4 years of dedicated Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
Proven expertise in one or more observability platforms Splunk or Dynatrace is required.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of system and network fundamentals.
Experience participating in on-call rotations and incident management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform or observability tools (Splunk/Dynatrace) are a plus.
Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries is advantageous.
