Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring for a System Release Engineer role to work onsite 3x per week, 2 days remote.

Choice of location:

Charlotte, NC; Iselin, NJ or Irving, TX. The Platform Support team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) focused on mission-critical internal risk applications—primarily the payments platform used by Risk and Audit (130+ apps). This person will be the go-to expert for application performance, stability, and continuous improvement, collaborating closely with developers, operations, and business stakeholders to keep our financial systems running at peak efficiency.

Top Requirements:

Operating Systems:

Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments

Application Stacks:

Hands-on experience troubleshooting Java, .NET, and SQL applications

Observability Tools:

Proven expertise with AppDynamics and/or Splunk; familiarity with Grafana or ThousandEyes a plus

Troubleshooting & Analysis:

Solid problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset for deep-dive diagnostics

Release Engineering Background:
