About this role:

Enterprise Function Technology (EFT) is seeking a Principal Engineer. As a Principal Engineer within the Workforce Compute team you will lead design, engineer, build, test, automate, and enable our customers by designing and building the latest end user technologies with a goal of providing optimal user experience. As a Principal engineer on the team you will be part of: Engineering solutions to meet or exceed user experience expectations, and transform the way we work Leading design and engineering of highly resilient platform and service layers for enterprise scalability Planning, designing, and building hybrid/cloud strategies for end user enablement Engineering and implementing policy requirements Designing integration with enterprise authentication and authorization platforms In this role, you will: Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership Design and engineer highly resilient platform as a service layer for enterprise scalability Lead planning, design, and build hybrid/cloud strategy for end user enablement Design integration with enterprise authentication and authorization platforms Engineering and implementation of policy requirements Engineering solutions to meet or exceed user experience expectations, and transform the way we work

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft Intune, Modern device management, and modern application management 7+ years of experience working with VDI delivery technology

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience working with hybrid cloud 3+ years of solutions architecture experience Experience with large scale VDI deployments Experience with supporting VDI and other Enterprise Desktop technologies including single sign on, group policy and OS deployment Experience with Desktop as a Service (DaaS) cloud technologies (Amazon Workspaces, Microsoft WVD, Google Cloud) Experience with end user computing 4 year degree in STEM or masters/advance degree Scripting experience in Powershell or equivalent language (python, javascript)
