About the Role Are you highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in Azure OpenAI, Azure Front Door, Azure API Management (APIM), and the infrastructure required to support Cognitive Services. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable solutions to enhance our AI-driven applications. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, product teams, and stakeholders globally to drive forward innovative solutions.
- Position is HYBRID in Raleigh, NC office-2-3 days a week
Requirements:
Software Engineering experience BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related field, or equivalent of experience. Proven experience in designing and managing Azure-based infrastructure, specifically with Azure OpenAI, Front Door, and APIM. Strong understanding of Cognitive Services and AI/ML concepts. Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement infrastructure solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure Front Door, and APIM to support Cognitive Services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing and new applications. Optimize and manage the performance, scalability, and security of AI infrastructure. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure design, configuration, and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AI infrastructure. Work on cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment and operation of the AI platform. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services and AI technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains cutting-edge. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. All other duties as assigned.
