Role:
At MPG, we’re looking for a high-impact Senior Manager of Infrastructure Services to lead our global infrastructure landscape across multiple manufacturing and business sites. This individual will be a cornerstone in our IT leadership team—blending architectural insight, operational discipline, and player-coach execution to drive transformational technology initiatives. You will lead a skilled team responsible for network, server, cloud, and end-user infrastructure—ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and performance while setting the strategic direction for infrastructure in alignment with MPG’s business and production goals. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands how to translate fractured inputs into actionable roadmaps, and wants to grow into a director-level position in a global manufacturing organization.
The Challenge:
MPG is evolving from a fragmented infrastructure model to a standardized, scalable, and cloud-optimized IT environment. The next 24 months are pivotal, with major projects including hybrid cloud optimization, network modernization, 24×7 global operations reliability, and infrastructure security maturity.
Your Solution:
You’ll define and execute a roadmap that improves operational efficiency, fortifies infrastructure resilience, and enables scalability across sites. You will unify fragmented technical priorities and communications into a cohesive infrastructure program, ensure projects are value-driven, and lead your team through empowerment, mentorship, and accountability.
What You’ll Do Strategic Infrastructure Leadership:
Develop and execute multi-year infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise architecture standards
Hybrid Architecture Management:
Design scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, M365, SaaS)
Network & OT Integration:
Lead network modernization including industrial protocols, SCADA/PLC integration, and edge-compute IoT sensor rollouts
Cloud Governance:
Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks, policies, and best practices across Azure, AWS, and M365 platforms
Operations Excellence:
Oversee IT infrastructure operations including network, systems, storage, cloud, endpoints, and site reliability practices
Team Development:
Lead and empower a high-performing global infrastructure team through technical mentorship, career guidance, and leadership coaching
Program Transformation:
Execute major infrastructure initiatives including network redesign, data center evolution, cloud adoption, and disaster recovery improvements
Security & Compliance:
Partner with InfoSec to ensure infrastructure security, access controls, and compliance with SOX, PCI, and manufacturing standards
Budget & Vendor Management:
Manage infrastructure budgets, procurement, asset lifecycle, cost optimization, and vendor relationship accountability
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with AppDev, PMO, and InfoSec teams to ensure integrated roadmaps and effective communication to IT and business leadership
What You’ll Bring Leadership Experience:
15+ years in broad IT infrastructure leadership roles, including 5+ years in senior strategic leadership positions
Technical Expertise:
Strong architectural knowledge across networking, cloud, virtualization, backup/DR, and endpoint management Proven track record leading enterprise-scale cloud and on-premises infrastructure transformations Experience with SRE practices, infrastructure-as-code, and modern observability/monitoring tooling
Industry Experience:
Multi-site manufacturing or supply chain environment experience preferred Familiarity with OT environments, industrial networking, and smart factory concepts
Business Acumen:
High ability to triage competing priorities and assess business impact Strong prioritization skills focused on delivering high-value outcomes across IT/OT/cloud Experience with cloud governance, cost optimization, and compliance frameworks
Communication Skills:
Excellent ability to synthesize fragmented input into unified vision and present to leadership
Certifications:
Relevant certifications (Azure, Cisco, VMware, ITIL, TOGAF) are advantageous
Team Leadership:
Clear history of mentoring and empowering technical teams while maintaining accountability
