Technical Specialist- Senior
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT/Enterprise Architect who can play a vital role in aligning technology solutions with the needs of state agencies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of managing and shaping overall IT strategy while working collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze business problems and develop detailed solution requirements
Create comprehensive architecture models across business, systems, data, and technology domains
Conduct systematic reviews of enterprise IT projects and statewide procurements
Evaluate third-party vendors/solutions for alignment with agency needs and standards
Develop and uphold architectural principles, governance, and best practices
Support risk management, security, and optimization of IT infrastructure
Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and enhance enterprise architecture strategy
Preferred:
Previous experience working with public sector or large-scale enterprise systems
Strong communication skills and ability to present architectural recommendations to leadership
