The Role The Learning Team Junior Power Platform Developer is a member of the FI and FBOT Learning team. You will help develop and maintain Power Platforms applications in support of achieving business unit objectives through learning initiatives. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in both Power Apps and Power BI, data integration, and technical support. This role involves assisting in the development and maintenance of learning applications using Power Apps, creating basic reports and dashboards with Power BI, and supporting data integration tasks to enhance business intelligence and automation within our Learning initiatives. The Expertise and Skills You bring We are looking for a person who has: Practical experience and a developing skill set in Power Apps development Practical experience and a developing skill set in Power BI report creation and dashboard development Awareness of Microsoft Dataverse Foundational knowledge of data integration techniques Basic knowledge of data modeling and database design Basic knowledge of iterative work processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptability Effective communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor’s or equivalent with 2+ years of experience or Master’s with 0+ years of experience Experience in a client-facing role; collaborating with internal stakeholders and participating in requirements gathering Experience maintaining and updating Azure virtual machines App function monitoring to ensure uptime using Datadog, Power Apps Monitor, or Application Insights , among others Experience in capturing technical documentation Basic knowledge of Change, Application, and Incident Management within the ServiceNow Familiarity with programming languages beyond Power Apps (JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, JSON) Experience in HR and or Learning and Development is a plus

The work you will be doing includes Power Platforms Support Power Apps projects by taking ownership of assigned tasks, balancing productivity with creative inspiration to deliver high-quality results Automate routine business processes using Power Automate Integrate and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate, and other related tools Connect Power Apps to various data sources Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows using Power Automate Data and Reporting Support the design and development of reports and dashboards using Power BI Translate client requirements into basic visualizations and actionable reports Provide support in technical validation of implemented reporting requirements Help consume, integrate, and normalize data sources into a cohesive data model Deploy and maintain reports, and dashboards within Power BI Demonstrate and support Power BI and reporting best practices Assist in developing SQL code for basic data queries Familiarity with basic DAX functions like SUM, AVERAGE, and simple calculated columns Support managing, querying, and maintaining databases Follow recommended approaches and guidelines for data protection Apply essential data security practices to safeguard confidential information The Team The FI and FBOT Learning Team sits in the FI and FBOT HR organization and is part of the broader Learning Function at Fidelity.
