Summary:
Responsible for supportingdevelopment and implementation of a site reliability maintenancestrategy, assessing short term reliability needs i.e. identifyingcritical equipment and spare parts, predictive and preventivestrategies, supporting maintenance planning and execution for theingredients facility
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the development and execution of acomprehensive plant reliability strategy. Responsible for improvingequipment availability and reliability through the implementationof the following processes: Continuous improvement and defectelimination through RCA (Root Cause Analysis) ; ReliabilityCentered Maintenance (RCM) through the implementation ofcondition-based monitoring, planned preventative maintenance andaccurate maintenance practices Implement condition-basedmaintenance technologies including vibration and oil analysis, IRthermography, ultrasonic testing and NDT Responsible for definingPM and PdM procedures and frequency of implementation Interfacewith Maintenance Planner to confirm that PM procedures andintervals are entered into CMMS and are consistent with assetperformance Interface with the Maintenance Team Leader to validateequipment performance, maintain and document all trainingrequirements. Provide periodic asset utilization accounting and KeyPerformance Indicator (KPI) data Initiate maintenance related smallcapital projects that result in improvement of process efficiency,upgrading of utility systems or improved operational safetyMaintain the mechanical integrity component of
OSHA PSM
includingITPM and training information. Provide input into the selection ofnew equipment capable of providing improved operations and reduceddowntime. Support maintenance and engineering groups as needed.
Enforce all specific maintenance safety policies and procedures.
Oversee systems which constantly monitor 150 pieces of equipment.
SAP and/or DeltaV experience is a big plus.

Education/Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred Minimum 5years of engineering / maintenance experience in a manufacturingplant environment preferably with continuous operating equipmentand discrete unit operation specifically with rotating components.
Specific experience with creation and implementation ofreliability-based maintenance technologies such as vibrationanalysis, IR thermography , oil analysis, NDT, PM, etc. Proventrack record of Continuous Improvement projects. Ability to providetechnical assistance to production for equipment operatingproblems. Specific experience with the proper application ofreliability-based maintenance of rotating components and otherprocess equipment and instrumentation. Ability to read andinterpret processes, mechanical, electrical, instrumentationdrawings from vendors and design engineers. Knowledge of
OSHA PSMITPM
component, RCA procedures and RCM.
Language Ability:
Abilityto read, analyze, and interpret statistical data, general businessperiodicals, professional journals, engineering diagrams, technicalprocedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports,business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability toeffectively present information and respond to questions fromgroups of managers, clients, customers and employees.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical and statistical concepts.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios,and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, anddraws valid conclusions. Ability to critically evaluate results,make recommendations and reports on projects.
Computer Skills :
Toperform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledgeof
MS Office:
Word, Excel, Computerized Mechanical MaintenanceSystems, MS Project software.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Ability to lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigateequipment problems.
