Cloud Engineer Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Implement software solutions across a broad range of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Develop containerized applications using Docker, Amazon EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, Azure Blob, Azure VM, Service Fabric, and Azure AKS. Monitor CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Artifactory, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. Develop AWS and Azure infrastructure environments as code using scripting and CloudFormation and Terraform tools. Design and implement core AWS and Azure platform architecture, including organizations, account design, subnet segmentation strategies, subscriptions, VNet, resource groups, security groups, DNS, and routing. Design and implement cloud backup, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies. Automate cloud environment and application processes using Terraform, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and RAFAY tools. Implement best practices for cloud compute, databases, analytics, and security services in AWS and Azure. Optimize AWS and Azure costs. Implement cloud security best practices and identity access management permissions to ensure least privilege access. Design, review, build, and deploy Kubernetes clusters in a multi-cloud environment on RAFAY platform. Collaborate with vendors to integrate new cloud tools and services.

Requirements:

Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role.•All of the required experience must have included experience with: setting up and configuring infrastructure components using cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services and Azure; creating and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines using version control systems, including Git; setting up and monitoring alerting systems to track the performance, availability, and health of software applications and infrastructure; implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software development and deployment lifecycle; and using Linux operating systems.•This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Jersey City, NJ office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
